These Community Guidelines are part of the PTG Terms and Conditions. If you use PTG, you must follow them.
PTG is an 18+ social platform for discovering, creating, joining, and discussing real-world events. These Guidelines explain what behaviour and content are allowed.
In these Guidelines, “plans,” “events,” “meetups,” “hangouts,” “jams,” “gatherings,” and similar terms refer to real-world or app-based activities created, discovered, joined, hosted, displayed, or discussed through PTG.
1. Core Rule
Use PTG to meet people, attend events, build community, and participate in real-world activities responsibly. Do not use PTG to harm, harass, exploit, mislead, threaten, sexually solicit, scam, impersonate, or endanger anyone.
2. PTG Is 18+ Only
You must be at least 18 years old to use PTG. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Do not help anyone under 18 access PTG. Do not create, promote, or attend events involving minors in unsafe, sexual, exploitative, or unlawful contexts. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18 or uses false age information, we may restrict or remove it.
3. PTG Is Not a Dating or Hookup App
PTG is not a dating, hookup, sexual solicitation, escort, adult-encounter, or objectification app. Do not use PTG to request sexual activity, arrange hookups, promote adult services, pressure users romantically or sexually, send sexual messages or sexual media, create sexually themed events, objectify or rate people sexually, or use event or chat features for sexual solicitation.
4. Consent and Boundaries
Respect personal boundaries online and offline. Personal consent must be freely given and can be withdrawn at any time. Do not pressure, coerce, follow, corner, touch, photograph, record, message, or contact someone in a way they do not want. If someone blocks you, rejects a request, leaves an event, asks you to stop contacting them, or sets a boundary, respect it immediately.
5. Be Respectful
You may disagree with people, but you must not abuse them. Do not post, send, or encourage harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, targeted insults, repeated unwanted contact, humiliation, or abusive behaviour in chats, events, profiles, reports, ratings, or offline interactions.
6. No Hate or Discrimination
Do not attack, degrade, exclude, or threaten people based on protected or sensitive characteristics, including religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other personal identity characteristics. Events, profiles, chats, media, ratings, and reports must not promote hate, extremist activity, dehumanization, or targeted discrimination.
7. No Violence, Threats, or Dangerous Conduct
Do not use PTG to promote, organize, threaten, glorify, or encourage violence or physical harm. Prohibited behaviour includes threats against individuals or groups, encouraging assault or intimidation, weapon misuse, dangerous dares or unsafe stunts, glorification of violence, events likely to create serious physical risk, and coordinating harm. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
8. No Illegal Events or Illegal Activity
You may not use PTG to create, promote, join, or coordinate illegal activity. Prohibited events include drug events, events involving illegal substances, illegal or unauthorized protests, assemblies, or mass gatherings, events involving criminal activity, events intended to evade law enforcement, venue rules, or public-order requirements, and events that require permissions, licences, bookings, or approvals that have not been obtained. Users are responsible for ensuring their events follow applicable law and venue rules.
9. Child Safety and Zero Tolerance for Minor Exploitation
PTG has zero tolerance for any content or behaviour that sexualizes, endangers, exploits, or abuses minors, including child sexual abuse material, grooming, or attempts to involve anyone under 18 in sexual, exploitative, or unsafe activity. This applies even though PTG is an 18+ service. We remove such content, ban accounts involved, preserve relevant records, and report to law enforcement or appropriate child-safety authorities (such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, where applicable) as required or appropriate by law.
10. No Self-Harm, Suicide, or Dangerous-Behaviour Content
Do not post, send, promote, glorify, or encourage suicide, self-harm, disordered eating, or dangerous challenges. You may share your own experiences or seek support, but do not encourage others to harm themselves. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline. Where appropriate, PTG may remove content, share supportive resources, or take safety action.
11. No Human Trafficking or Exploitation
Do not use PTG to facilitate, promote, or engage in human trafficking, forced labor, sexual exploitation, commercial sexual services, or the exploitation of vulnerable people. We remove such content, ban involved accounts, and may report to authorities.
12. No Sexual, Nude, or Exploitative Content
Do not upload, send, request, or promote nudity, pornography, sexual images or videos, sexual messages or solicitation, non-consensual intimate content, content exploiting or sexualizing anyone, or sexual content involving or appearing to involve minors. PTG may remove sexual content and restrict or ban accounts involved in sexual solicitation or exploitation.
13. No Scams, Spam, Fraud, or Platform Manipulation
Do not use PTG to deceive users or manipulate the platform. Prohibited behaviour includes fake giveaways, phishing, impersonation for money or attention, fake events, misleading event details, spam messages, mass unsolicited promotion, fraud, fake accounts, attempts to collect money outside approved flows, suspicious links, malware, bots, scraping, automated account creation, rate-limit evasion, and attempts to bypass moderation or safety systems.
14. No Impersonation or Misleading Profiles
Do not pretend to be another person, organization, public figure, brand, event host, venue, or PTG representative. Your profile photo, display name, bio, social links, verification status, and event information must not be misleading or designed to deceive users. PTG’s profile photo / live face matching feature does not prove legal identity. Do not represent it as a government-ID check, background check, age check, or guarantee of trustworthiness.
15. Women-Only Events and Identity Rules
Where PTG offers women-only events, do not misrepresent your sex/gender, use another person’s account, help another user evade women-only settings, pressure anyone to change their profile information, or use women-only events to harass, shame, exclude unlawfully, or endanger others.
16. No Doxxing or Private Information Sharing
Do not share someone else’s private information without permission, including phone numbers, addresses, exact live location, hidden event location, private photos, private messages, financial information, identity documents, or workplace/college/school details shared to harass or endanger someone. Do not pressure users to reveal private information. Do not reveal hidden event locations to people who are not approved attendees or otherwise authorized to see them.
17. Media Rules
Photos, videos, thumbnails, and other media uploaded to PTG must follow these Guidelines. Do not upload sexual content, violent or graphic content, illegal content, non-consensual images, stolen images, impersonation images, copyrighted content you do not have rights to use, malware, or media intended to harass, shame, threaten, deceive, or exploit someone. PTG may remove media that violates these Guidelines.
18. Event Host Responsibilities
If you host an event, you are responsible for running it responsibly. Hosts must provide accurate event details, avoid misleading descriptions, choose safe, lawful, and appropriate locations, obtain permissions, bookings, licences, or approvals where required, respect attendee boundaries, follow venue rules and law, update or cancel events when necessary, and not use events for scams, sexual solicitation, illegal activity, drugs, violence, unsafe gatherings, or harassment. PTG may remove or cancel events that create risk, violate rules, or harm user trust.
19. Attendee Responsibilities
If you join or attend an event, you are responsible for your own conduct and safety. Attendees must behave respectfully, follow event and venue rules, not harass hosts or other attendees, not create unsafe situations, not pressure others into unwanted activity, leave if asked by the host, venue, or lawful authority, and report serious concerns.
20. No-Shows and Event Commitment
If you join an event, PTG expects you to show up in real life or update your status if you cannot attend. Hosts spend time and effort planning events, and not showing up after joining can be unfair to hosts and other attendees, especially when your spot could have gone to someone else.
If you cannot attend, update your status, withdraw from the event, or inform the host where appropriate. Repeated, intentional, deceptive, or reported no-shows may lead to enforcement action, including warnings, restrictions on joining or hosting events, reduced account visibility, suspension, or termination. PTG may consider genuine emergencies, safety concerns, mistakes, event changes, and whether you made a reasonable effort to inform the host.
21. Chat Rules and Blocking
Direct messages and event chats must follow these Guidelines. Do not use chats to harass users, send unwanted sexual messages, threaten users, spam, scam, pressure people to meet privately, share illegal or unsafe content, send abusive media, evade blocks, or evade moderation. Blocking may limit direct interactions and certain social features but may not remove all shared event chats, historical content, event participation records, or records PTG needs for safety, legal compliance, enforcement, or service integrity. PTG may review reported chats and related context for safety and enforcement.
22. Ratings, Reviews, and Feedback
Use ratings, reviews, comments, and feedback features honestly and responsibly. Do not submit false, retaliatory, discriminatory, defamatory, harassing, extortionate, spammy, or manipulated ratings or feedback. Do not threaten a bad rating to force someone to act against their wishes.
23. Reporting
If you see content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, report it in the app or contact [email protected]. You may also block users where the feature is available. Reports should be made honestly; do not submit false or abusive reports. PTG may review reports, reported content, profiles, chats, event context, ratings, media, and related account activity where needed to enforce these Guidelines.
24. Enforcement
- warning a user;
- removing content, messages, media, ratings, or events;
- removing or cancelling events;
- restricting event hosting, joining, chat, media, or visibility;
- revoking or resetting profile photo matching/verification status;
- suspending or terminating accounts;
- preserving records where needed for safety, legal, or enforcement reasons;
- cooperating with lawful authorities and reporting serious issues to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
PTG decides enforcement actions at its discretion based on context, severity, risk, repeat behaviour, available evidence, and platform safety needs.
25. Appeals and Support
If you believe PTG made an enforcement mistake, contact [email protected]. PTG may review the issue, but we do not guarantee reversal of any moderation decision.
26. Safety Reminder
PTG helps people discover and organize events, but PTG does not guarantee the safety, reliability, identity, intentions, background, or behaviour of users, hosts, attendees, venues, routes, or events. Use caution, meet in safe places, protect your personal information, arrange your own safe transport, and leave any situation that feels unsafe.
27. Updates
PTG may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of PTG after updates means you agree to follow the updated Guidelines.
