why we keep going,
The thali is the thing. Steel plate, a dozen small katoris, the bisibele bath as the anchor. Sit, surrender, eat what arrives.
Started as Brahmin Coffee Club, closed during the 1975 Emergency, reopened in 1981. The room remembers all of it.
Lunch service runs in sittings. Land before 12 or after 2 if you want to be seated, not standing.
