MAP runs photography and contemporary; NGMA leans pre-Independence and modern. Do them in that order.
MAP is five floors, 44,000 sq ft, and the cafe at the top is worth the visit on its own.
NGMA sits inside the Manikyavelu Mansion. The garden alone is reason enough.

MAP opened to the public in February 2023, built around Abhishek Poddar's private collection; NGMA Bengaluru opened in 2009 inside the early-1900s Manikyavelu Mansion.
